2015 Hangang Concert

Jazz, Pop, and Fusion Korean Music every Wed, Sat, and Sun at 7PM

From May to October, be sure to check out the “floating stage” at Yeouido. Go on an excursion to the Hangang river and enjoy the romantic atmosphere every Wednesday, Saturday, or Sunday at 7 pm. You can watch pop, jazz, and fusion Korean traditional music performances for FREE!

Please note: If there is a fair amount of rain, the stage will be closed but a small performance will still be available for viewing indoors. If the weather conditions are extreme, the performances will also be cancelled.

Music at the Royal Palace

Experience palace music, folk music, and fusion music morning, day, and night until October 11th!

After the first successful traditional arts performance in 2008, ｢Music in the Royal Palace｣ has become a permanant show since 2009. Every spring and autumn, there are around 320,000 people that come to these events where each palace offers a wealth of cultural events to watch for both locals and foreigners who visit. This is the 7th time this event has taken place.

Due to the steady and consistent support, you will now also be able to attend this event at Changgyeonggung palace in addition to Gyeongbukgong Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, And Jongmyo Shrine.

｢Music at the Royal Palace｣ not only provides entertainment for vistors with traditional musical performances and storytelling, but also offers visitors a chance to experience the elegance of palaces and the depth of traditional Korean arts by bringing culture, history and arts together.

Hongdae Free Market is the open space between diverse artists and visitors to cocommunicate with each other and consume culture. Visitors will find in the market creative items reflecting distinctive tastes of artists. In fact, everybody can participate in the market as his or her own artist. INTRODUCTION

Hongdae (the area in front of Hongik University) is a neighborhood known for its youthful and romantic ambience, underground cultures, and freedom of self-expression.
