Music at the Royal Palace
Experience palace music, folk music, and fusion music morning, day, and night until October 11th!
After the first successful traditional arts performance in 2008, 「Music in the Royal Palace」 has become a permanant show since 2009. Every spring and autumn, there are around 320,000 people that come to these events where each palace offers a wealth of cultural events to watch for both locals and foreigners who visit. This is the 7th time this event has taken place.
Due to the steady and consistent support, you will now also be able to attend this event at Changgyeonggung palace in addition to Gyeongbukgong Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, And Jongmyo Shrine.
「Music at the Royal Palace」 not only provides entertainment for vistors with traditional musical performances and storytelling, but also offers visitors a chance to experience the elegance of palaces and the depth of traditional Korean arts by bringing culture, history and arts together.
